Jocelynne's first dog was a black Labrador and was quickly followed by a Blue Merle Rough Collie. She did obedience and agility, gaining a training Certificate. She then decided she might like to start showing dogs. She purchased a Mininature Schnauzer Bitch in 1992, but she wasn’t good enough for show ring but enjoyed doing mini agility. In 1997, a Beagle entered her life, quickly realizing his potential in the ring, as well as excelling at Obedience, something in which he treats as a joke these days!! The highlight being when Frank Kane - all Rounder, awarded Jocelynne's Beagle a RCC and Stud book number on the same day, this means he is qualified for life for Crufts, unfortunately due to work commitments Jocelynne was unable to campaign him to his title. Her affix "Jocebec" was granted by the Kennel Club in 1999. However, Rhodesian Ridgebacks are her passion. She waited four years for her first  one, a wonderful male, with a gentle disposition, A great friendship has been formed with his breeder - Toni Agnew - "Mwenga" Jocelynne is grateful for this as Toni has offered her some wonderful advice, support and guidance over the years and continues to do so. Jocelynne has clear understanding, knowledge and experience of what to expect from this handsome, athletic breed. Next along came a bitch, but before her debut at Crufts she sadly died. Currently she owns 2 Ridgebacks, mum, Jarna who give birth to 11 puppies, the very first litter for "Jocebec" known as the “J” Bunch, four dogs and seven bitches in August 2008 and her son - Toki and Lily the Beagle

Judging also plays a part in Jocelynne's life. She started in 2000 and has experience of judging Junior Handling, Beagles, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, AV Dachshund and Whippets. She is currently on the following "C" lists for the Basset Griffon Vendeen Club of Gt Britain,Grands, & Petits,West Merica Beagle Club,Northern & Midland Beagle Club,The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Scotland, Dachshund Club of Wales and on the Midlands & Northern Rhodesian Ridgeback Club "B" list. Jocebec is a small Kennel who show their hounds at all Levels.  They strive to breed sound quality stock with excellent temperaments.
